Booking Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 2026

By booking an activity with Northfolk, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Bookings & payments

All bookings must be confirmed through payment unless otherwise agreed.

After booking, customers will receive a confirmation email with activity details and additional instructions if needed.

Custom, private and large-group bookings are confirmed separately and may have separate payment and cancellation terms.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation terms depend on the activity type.

For reindeer activities, customers may cancel free of charge up to 7 days before the activity start time and receive a full refund.

For other standard activities, customers may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the activity start time and receive a full refund.

Cancellations made after the free cancellation period are generally non-refundable. Whenever possible, we may offer the option to reschedule the activity to another available date.

Custom, private and large-group bookings may have separate cancellation terms agreed before booking. Please contact us as early as possible about changes or cancellations.

Weather & safety conditions

The safety of our guests always comes first. Activities may be modified, postponed or cancelled by Northfolk because of weather, ice or safety conditions, equipment issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.

If Northfolk cancels an activity, customers will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule to another available date.

Participant responsibility

Participants must follow guide instructions, behave safely and respectfully, and inform us before the activity of relevant medical conditions, allergies or physical limitations.

Northfolk reserves the right to remove a participant from an activity if unsafe or disruptive behaviour occurs.

Snowmobile & driving requirements

Some activities may require a valid driving licence. Participants driving snowmobiles must hold a driving licence accepted in Finland and present it before the activity if requested.

Drivers are responsible for following guide instructions and local laws during the activity.

Liability & insurance

Northfolk maintains liability insurance for its activities. Participants join activities at their own responsibility and are expected to act carefully and follow all safety instructions.

Northfolk is not responsible for personal belongings, damage caused by participant negligence, or failure to follow instructions or safety guidelines. We strongly recommend appropriate travel and health insurance for all participants.

Photography & marketing

Photos and videos may occasionally be taken during activities for marketing and social-media purposes. If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, please tell your guide before the activity begins.
